03Who receives your data

Your data is only accessible to the Teoxane team and to the service providers we need, each for its own part:

  • IONOS (France / Germany): hosting of the website, the back-office and emails.
  • Stripe (card payments) and PayPal (PayPal payments): they process your payment under their own privacy policies.
  • Google: Tag Manager (statistics and ad measurement), reCAPTCHA (fraud prevention on PayPal payments), and Google Fonts (the website's typeface is loaded from Google's servers, which receive your IP address).
  • Meta (Facebook / Instagram): pixel used to measure our ads.
  • ip-api.com: converts the shortened IP address into an approximate city and country for our visit statistics.
  • Spotify, YouTube, SoundCloud: when you play an embedded player on our pages, the platform receives data as if you visited it directly.
  • The file transfer service you choose to send us your track (WeTransfer, Dropbox, Google Drive…).

We never sell or rent your data. Some of these providers may process data outside the European Union (mainly in the United States). These transfers rely on the guarantees provided by the GDPR (EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses).

04How long we keep it

  • Your account: until you delete it (you can do so at any time from your account, in Security). Accounts with no sign-in or order for 3 years are deleted after an email warning. An account whose email is never confirmed is deleted after 7 days.
  • Orders and invoices: 10 years, as required by accounting rules.
  • Purchased tracks: available for download in your account as long as the music shop operates and your account exists.
  • Your audio files: 30 days after delivery of your master.
  • Track submission forms: for the duration of the service, then 3 years after our last exchange.
  • Demos and booking requests: 3 years after our last exchange.
  • Visit statistics: 13 months.
  • Advertising cookies: 13 months maximum.

05Cookies and browser storage

Needed for the website to work (no consent required)

  • Your cart while you order (a cart identifier) and the product prices, to show them instantly; when you are signed in, the list of tracks you already own (for 10 minutes), to show “Owned” instead of a price.
  • If you arrive through an artist's link (an address ending with ?ref=…): the name of that artist, kept 30 days in your browser and attached to your order, so that the artist is credited for the sale. One visit per day is counted for the artist, without any data about you.
  • Player settings (volume, waveforms), checklists you tick, and a temporary copy of releases and events to load pages faster.
  • Cookies set by Stripe, PayPal and reCAPTCHA during payment, for security and fraud prevention.
  • If you sign in to your account: a secure login cookie (unreadable by the page itself), kept for the session or 14 days if you tick “Keep me signed in”, and your first name stored in your browser to greet you in the menu. Both are removed when you sign out.
  • TX-1 Lab (virtual decks): your settings (expert mode) and the history of your scored mixes, stored only in your browser. The tracks you load from your computer stay on your computer: nothing is sent to us.
  • On the back-office: WordPress login cookies for the Teoxane team.

Statistics and advertising

  • A random identifier for our own visit statistics.
  • Google Tag Manager and the Meta pixel, which measure visits, add-to-cart and purchases to evaluate our ads. They are only loaded if you click “Accept & continue” in the cookie banner. If you choose “Continue without accepting”, nothing is sent to Google or Meta.

Your choice is kept for 6 months. You can change it at any time with the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page.

You can delete cookies and site data at any time in your browser settings, block third-party cookies, or use Meta's ad preferences (facebook.com/adpreferences) and Google's (adssettings.google.com).

06Security

The website is served over HTTPS. Payments go through certified providers (Stripe, PayPal): we never see or store card details. Access to the back-office is restricted to the Teoxane team and protected by two-factor authentication and login attempt limits.

07Your rights

Under the GDPR and French law, you can at any time:

  • access your data and get a copy of it;
  • have it corrected or deleted;
  • restrict or object to its use, including for statistics and advertising;
  • withdraw your consent;
  • receive the data you provided in a portable format;
  • give instructions on what happens to your data after your death.

Write to studio@teoxaneproduction.com; we answer within one month. Some data must be kept for legal reasons (for example invoices). If you think your rights are not respected, you can file a complaint with the French data protection authority, the CNIL.
